Temperature swings between −30°C and +10°C flex house frames enough to open hairline cracks along corners, window frames and ceiling joints every spring. We patch and re-tape so they stay closed through the next cycle.
A stripped drywall anchor leaves a ragged 1" crater that nail-hole filler will not touch. We cut out the damage, back the hole and apply compound so the surface is actually flat — not just filled over.
A flat sanded patch on an orange-peel wall glows under side lighting. We texture-match before priming so the repair reads the same as the surrounding wall — even under a raking light at close range.
Text or submit photos of every hole, crack or stained area through our quote form. The more photos, the more accurate the price.
We reply with a fixed price — usually within a few hours. No estimate ranges, no surprise charges when we arrive.
We arrive, patch everything in one visit, texture-match and prime. The wall is ready to paint the next morning.
Included in every job
Not in standard scope
Full skim coats and mould remediation can be quoted separately — mention it when you book.
Pre-sale prep
Getting the house listed and need every hole and scuff gone before listing photos.
Moving out of a rental
Facing a damage deposit deduction and need walls patched before the final inspection.
Post-renovation cleanup
Trades left anchor holes, conduit cutouts or rough edges that need a clean finish.
After a resolved leak
The plumber fixed the pipe — now the soft, stained drywall section needs replacing.
Before repainting
Rolling paint over old holes makes them worse — we patch first so the paint job looks right.
Seasonal crack repair
Calgary's freeze-thaw cycle opens hairline cracks every spring along corners and window frames.
A quick prep saves time on the day and helps us work faster in your space.
Clear the wall area
Move furniture, art and shelving away from the repair area so we can work without risking your belongings. A clear 3-foot perimeter around each spot is enough.
Know the paint colour
If you want us to paint the patch on the same visit, have leftover paint in the original can ready. We match texture but we do not colour-match paint without a physical sample.
Point out every spot
Walk us through all the holes and cracks when we arrive — even ones you think are too small. It costs nothing extra to patch a nail hole while we already have the compound out.
★★★★★Google Review“The patch blended perfectly with the orange peel texture. Came in, fixed four holes and the wall was ready to paint the next morning. Honestly could not tell where the holes were after we painted.”
Patching over damp or wet drywall causes the compound to crack and fall off within weeks. We always check for moisture behind the patch before starting — if the reading is high, we advise you to fix the source first and we reschedule at no penalty.
Calgary's freeze-thaw cycles crack interior walls every spring — small hairline cracks along window frames and ceiling joints are normal and worth patching before repainting to prevent them from spreading further.
Get a quote →Joint compound needs 24 hours to dry fully between coats. Small patches with one coat are typically ready to paint the next morning. Larger repairs needing two or three coats may take 48–72 hours total. We use lightweight compound where possible to reduce drying time.
Yes. We use a hopper spray or brush technique to match popcorn (acoustic) texture. The match is very close but may vary slightly in tone on aged ceilings — a full ceiling repaint is the only way to achieve a perfect colour match on older surfaces.
The patch will be primed and ready to paint after we finish. The patched area may be slightly different in sheen from the surrounding wall until painted. We can paint the patch on the same visit if you supply matching paint, or leave it primer-ready for your painter.
We check for moisture before patching. If the drywall is soft or the moisture source is still active, we will advise you to fix the plumbing or roofing issue first. Patching over wet drywall causes the compound to crack within weeks. Once the area is fully dry, we replace the damaged section and feather in the compound cleanly.
We handle everything from nail holes up to 12" cutouts. Larger sections may require backing boards or a drywall patch kit. For very large areas — a full wall section, for example — we quote by the panel and can complete the work in one visit.
Yes, and it is often the most cost-effective way to book. We walk through the whole home, patch everything in one pass, and the travel charge is shared across all rooms. Send photos of all the spots when you request a quote.
We prime every patch and leave it paint-ready. If you want us to paint the repaired area, supply the original wall colour and we will paint it on the same visit at no extra charge for small patches. Larger areas or full walls are quoted separately.
A properly textured and painted patch should be invisible at normal viewing distance. Under raking light — light hitting the wall at a low angle — very slight surface variation can sometimes be seen on large repairs. We feather the compound out wide and texture-match carefully to minimise this.
Check that the stain is dry and the drywall feels firm, not soft or spongy. If the stain is brown and the wall is hard, the source is likely resolved. If you are unsure, send us a photo and we will advise — we check with a moisture meter on arrival before starting any compound work.
Paint-ready means the patch is sanded smooth, texture is matched to the surrounding wall, and a coat of primer is applied. The surface is ready for your painter or a roller coat of wall paint. We do not leave raw compound — every job is fully primed before we leave.
